Gathering in circles has been in our evolution since the beginning of time. The advent of technology, however, has brought us from looking out and across to each other to looking down into the digital abyss. Even though we can now connect with people in an instant, know exactly what they are doing when they are thousands of miles away, we are a society that is more lonely than ever, falling into higher levels of depression, anxiety, fear, dis-ease, and isolation.
So let’s come back. Let’s come back to what we know is tried and true. Let’s re-gather. Let’s re-humanize. Let’s re-connect. Let’s come back to sitting in a circle with each other.
